Why Our Customers Love Us!
"My wife and I stopped into the Mountain Grind Coffee and Bistro expecting decent breakfast. However, we were both blown away with how tasty the food was. My wife had the breakfast burrito and I had the breakfast skillet with a cinnamon roll, and neither of us could stop raving about how tasty the meal was. The food was all homemade and fresh with just the right amount of spices and flavoring added in. I honestly believe that this was one of the best breakfasts we ever had. The service was also excellent and we plan on going back the next time we are in Winter Park. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the Winter Park area."
"Enjoyable, cozy feeling coffee shop in downtown Winter Park, Colorado. I enjoy eating & drinking a decaf there, where the congenial owner Sue and her friendly staff serves delicious salads, yummy soups, sinfully delicious fudges, various kinds of coffees, etc. She also has great Italian style gelato (ice cream). I also like Sue's cottage-like tastefully done decor, and the soothing yet lilting music she plays (Big Band 40's type pleasant swing type background music, not frenetic, and not too loud at all), that has a relaxing effect on everyone, when my husband and I go there to enjoy the food, desserts, coffee, & company! In addition, there are humorous cards available, beautiful paintings made of actual coffee as the paint, lovely cups, saucers, and a myriad of other useful &/or arts/crafts items available. I imagine that this is what a friendly bistro in Paris would be like!"
"I am a local who loves to stop in to Mountain Grind. It is a wonderful place to catch a good home cooked meal. The soups, sandwiches, quiches, pies, and large variety of fudge are all homemade and excellent. It is a great place to stop for a smoothie, coffee drink or hot cup of cocoa and there are some great gifts to purchase too. Oh, and did I tell you, it won't break the bank!"
"It is a great place! Really cozy, with excellent coffee and nice people!! I hope they still have those amazing brownies and banana bread they had when I was there!! Another wonderful thing worth testing is their gelato!!"
"The best quiche I have every had was here. This is a funky little out of the way coffee shop. Great atmosphere, swing music playing, and outgoing folks working there. Owner operated, very friendly. The home made soups there are great too, always something different, and you will always be offered a free sample of their home made fudge and/or gelato. Mmmmmmm its so good, and very reasonable prices. I have had the quiche, the soup and sandwich combos (on home made bread too!) and some of their pastries."
